Chair and Secretary for the North West region, David Eccleston and Joyce Overfield recently visited the Pathology department at Noble’s Hospital in the Isle of Man.
During their trip David and Joyce were taken on a tour of the department and learnt about the challenges of catering to a population of 75,000, on an island several miles away from the UK mainland. Their visit also included talks on both the history and future of the profession on the Isle of Man, as well as the opportunity to enjoy the IBMS centenary celebrations underway at the Isle of Man branch.
