The IBMS has opened its Registered Scientist (RSci) and Registered Science Technicians (RSci Tech) registers to members following their launch at this year’s Centenary AGM.
Associate members of the Institute holding a level 3 or equivalent qualification, one year's professional experience and who are committed to CPD are invited to apply for registration as Registered Science Technicians.
Members holding a level 5 or equivalent qualification, one year’s professional experience and who are committed to CPD are invited to apply for registration as Registered Scientists.
The new registers offer a nationally recognised designation, which demonstrates members’ skills, knowledge and professionalism and supports career development and progression.
