The Queen's Birthday Honours recognised the contributions of several individuals in the field of Healthcare Science.
Among those honoured were Professor Peter Sharp, awarded the OBE for his service to Healthcare Science and Medical Physics. Professor Heather Cubie received an MBE for her contribution to Healthcare Science in Scotland. Ruth Lapworth was also honoured with an MBE for her service to Healthcare.
The Institute would like to congratulate Professors Sharp and Cubie and Mrs Lapworth on this recognition of their contribution to their chosen fields.
