The workshop is designed for staff with a cytology background who wish to expand their skills to include pre-screening of Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) specimens from all body sites and those who wish to set up a BMS led rapid on site evaluation (ROSE) service. The workshop is intended for those who have a working knowledge of preparing and screening the specimen types covered in the introductory workshop and who wish to expand their experience to dealing with specimens obtained from all body sites. This workshop will include a basic overview of FNA cytology and the ROSE service and will look at preparation methods, cell morphology and quality issues
