The workshop is designed to supplement the in-house experience and training for qualified BMS staff currently completing the IBMS Cellular Pathology Specialist Portfolio. This is workshop B of 2 workshops to be carried out this year. The content of Workshop B is based on the knowledge and competence requirements of the IBMS Cellular Pathology Specialist Portfolio, sections 7.2e, f and g. At the end of the session the delegates should be able to understand and have specialist skills in specialist principles of cellular pathology and histological staining techniques, and be able to trouble shoot if problems occur, becoming competent in Cellular Pathology Techniques at a specialist level.
