Thank you for helping us to celebrate and promote our first Biomedical Science Day. It has been a huge success and we have been overwhelmed by the amount of responses we have received throughout the day.  

You have sent us hundreds of messages of support on Facebook and Twitter, as well as via email. These have also included lots of selfie images taken at work and home using our Biomedical Science placards and Albert Norman birthday cards. There were also lots of photos inside and outside of the lab, with teams of biomedical science staff holding events in hospitals to promote their work. The cakes all looked amazing as well! Also, we sent out hundreds of posters which have helped to promote the day with the aim of raising public awareness, some of which reached Finland, Kenya and Nigeria. 

But it doesn't stop here! 

We will be using the successes of this day to further promote biomedical science throughout the next year. This will include further social media campaigns, press releases, videos and webinars, as well as updates to our new Careers website.

Photo competition winners

Because we have been inundated with so many fantastic photos we shall be choosing the winners of our selfie and birthday card competitions on Thursday 20th July. We will update the winners and publish the winning entries here and on our social media channels. Good luck!

We will be using this day for all future Biomedical Science Days, aiming for each one to be bigger and better, allowing us to celebrate the vital role of our members and biomedical science.
