Thank you for your support during 2019. The IBMS is proud of all that it has achieved this year. 
 
We held our most successful and inclusive Congress ever with a record number of lectures and programme options – including a new 3-day stream of free seminars. To keep our qualifications current and relevant for the profession, we also developed a new distance learning Certificate of Expert Practice in Point of Care Testing and will be launching it in January.

To increase public awareness of the importance of biomedical scientists and laboratory staff, we produced three sample journey animations and Superlab – a comic book aimed at Key Stage 2 children. We also built on the success of Biomedical Science Day, supporting and publicising events across the country, reaching millions of people, raising the profile of the profession and celebrating the vital role of our members #AtTheHeartOfHealthcare.

As a valued member of the IBMS you have helped us to promote, develop and advance the profession and I hope that you will continue to support us for many years to come.

Save Money – Pay your IBMS subscription by annual Direct Debit (UK bank accounts only)

We offer a £5 discount on your IBMS annual subscription if you pay by annual Direct Debit, or alternatively you can opt to pay your subscription in 10 equal instalments from January to October.  Please complete the Direct Debit Form and return it to subs@ibms.org or if you bank with Barclays bank, post the form to:

UK tax payers can claim tax relief on their subscription. Additionally, by taking advantage of the savings on offer with IBMS Additions you could recover the cost of your IBMS membership fee.
