European Histopathology Forum April 2019

This meeting consists of 16 lectures, two workshops, a discussion forum and a trade show.
The first workshop will aim to give attendees an understanding of basic pathological processes, from cell degeneration, cell death to neoplasia and cell proliferation. The second workshop will aim to give attendees a greater understanding of antigen retreival, covering many of the the various techniques/methods currently available.

BSAC Residential Workshops for EUCAST Susceptibility Testing April 2019

The BSAC will be holding a three day practical workshop at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff aimed at those wishing to gain practical experience of the EUCAST methodology.

Blood Sciences Workshops – Templates of Haematology

This study day is aimed at Healthcare Professionals (Biomedical Scientists) working towards state registration or specialist portfolios in Haematology and Transfusion Science.
Alternatively, this course is also aimed at those laboratories working towards multi-disciplinary scientists enabling Biochemists to initiate their wider learning into the field of Haematology and Transfusion Science.
It is a workshop based around understanding how to relate Haematology and Biochemistry results to haematological disorders/malignancies. There will be exercises for course attendees to complete with guidance which include FBC interpretations/ Blood Morphology and Antibody Investigations.
