Specimen Dissection – Gynaecological & Placental Pathology

The course covers the theoretical knowledge required for the Diploma examination and includes many opportunities for self-assessment. You will also gain practical knowledge to support your everyday practice as a specimen dissector. In addition you will have clear evidence for your own Trust and those overseeing governance such as UKAS that you have received appropriate training, giving reassurance of safe practice.

1. Practical HPLC Troubleshooting Course - 2 Days - 2020

To correctly install a HPLC system, including fluids and electrical components; To understand symptoms and; attribute them to certain abnormalities; To be able to perform routine maintenance; To be able to implement corrective measures once faults are spotted e.g. stopping leaks, replacing flow cells and making fittings; To be able to solve retention time, baseline, tailing peaks and back pressure problems
