Presentation by Dr Miriam Deeny on her recent experience in gynaecology and cervical cytology on a trip to Malawi.

Learning outcome to learn about cervical screening and related issues in an undeveloped country.

Annual report by Dr Louise Smart on the EQA scheme and the results recorded by each Scottish lab.

Presentation of 5 Circulating Slide cases by junior medics showing interesting and unusual abnormalities . These presentations will provide additional knowledge to delegates in their daily diagnostic duties.

Dr Cynthia van der Horst will present her findings in a recent study of Thyroid FNA abnormalities. Learning outcome to aid diagnosis in daily reporting of thyroid FNA samples.

Presentation by Dr Alison Scott on the problems associated with trying to help socially excluded women tocervical screening and other gynaecological investigations. Insight into how difficult it is to obtain some of the samples we deal with in the cytology screening service.
