The aim of the workshop is to enhance the attendees' technical knowledge and practical skills, increasing the experience and confidence in the ANCA Diagnostics field.

The attendees will be given a detailed presentation on Anti-Neutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies (ANCA) relevant to the diagnosis of Vasculitides and Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. The lectures will include disease background, pathogenesis, diagnostic approach and latest innovations.

Following the theoretical session in the morning, the day will feature an afternoon practical Microscopy session in which the attendees will be shown demonstration IFA slides while discussing and applying knowledge learnt in the theoretical session, with regards to patterns recognition and diagnostic strategy. The latest innovations, such as Automatic ANCA Pattern Recognition will be explained and showcased as well.

The workshop will conclude with an open forum session for the attendees to discuss major challenges in ANCA diagnostics and share their experience.
