Blood Sciences for Specialist Diplomas Short Course 2018
Four sessions, from 9.30 to 17:30, comprising of lectures and some laboratory work. Interactive and follow up activities will be included.

By the end of the course you will be able to:
• Explain the principles of operation of automation as applicable to blood sciences
• Describe the principles, quality assurance and limitations of core haematology tests and the methods employed.
• Describe the principles, quality assurance and limitations of core clinical chemistry tests and the methods employed.
• Complete optional assessments that will evidence core sections of the Institute of Biomedical Science Clinical Chemistry and Haematology Specialist Diplomas.
