Delegates will be updated on the latest clinical and laboratory research from international experts in the field of haemostasis. Topics will include diagnostic approaches to bleeding disorders such as VWD and platelet function disorders, and aspects of laboratory testing of direct relevance to staff in the haemostasis laboratory, including pre and post analytical issues and validation/verification of laboratory tests. At the end of the meeting delegates will have learnt of the latest developments in EQA as well as diagnostic and management challenges posed by vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopaenia.
