IBMS Verifier and Examiner Training Day

Attendance of a training day is a required part of the application process to become either a Registration Portfolio Verifier or a Specialist Portfolio Examiner, but also serves as a refresher for existing verifiers and examiners. 

The next Verifier and Examiner training day will be held on Monday 18 March at 12 Coldbath Square. You can register for this day online. 

The verifier and examiner training day includes a mixture of talks and workshops where new and experienced verifiers and examiners can share good and bad practice, with example pieces of evidence to review. The processes of registration portfolio and specialist portfolio assessments will be briefly covered, but the expectation is that attendees will already be familiar with the documentation which they will receive in advance in a delegate pack.

IBMS verifier and examiner training days are free of charge all-day events with a sandwich lunch provided. 

Travel expenses for attendees are covered up to £100 for individuals who have submitted an application form intending on becoming an active IBMS portfolio assessor, and for assessors currently on our records looking to refresh their knowledge.

Once we have confirmed your place on a given training day, we will provide you with the delegate pack, including a proposed agenda with timings for the day.
