Apply to the ICSH's 2021 Carol Briggs-Smalley Scholarship - honouring Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Scientists making contributions to the standardization of laboratory haematology.
The ICSH's (International Council for Standardization in Haematology) Carol Briggs-Smalley Scholarship Award was set-up in 2015 to honour the significant contributions Carol Briggs made to the discipline of laboratory haematology.
The award offers up to 5000 euros to Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Scientists to carry out projects related to standardisation in laboratory haematology. Projects related to standardisation in cellular analysis, haemostasis, flow cytometry, haemoglobinopathies and molecular haematology are all considered to be suitable for the award.
