IBMS welcomes first post graduate biomedical science society
We are pleased to welcome the Postgraduate Biosciences Society at Nottingham Trent University as our 21st student affiliate and the first postgraduate society.
The Postgraduate Biosciences Society aims to enrich the social and academic features of postgraduate student life and cover an interest in topics ranging from biomedical science, to molecular cell biology and cancer biology.
We look forward to working with the Postgraduate Biosciences Society and helping them in their future endeavours.
We support our student affiliate biomedical student societies in a number of ways:
- Helping them source IBMS members as speakers and sponsors for society events, along with providing IBMS promotional items, literature and posters
- Providing opportunities to input into our IBMS guidance, careers advice and publicity materials
- Giving them access to IBMS careers publications
- Connecting them with professional biomedical scientists, including IBMS regions and branches to attend events and for networking
- Promoting regional careers events, free to attend for IBMS members
- Linking them with local IBMS Company employers
- Promoting their news and events
- Provide careers information including at Fresher’s Week.
