Joint statement from Public Health England and NHS England on primary HPV testing

Statement released in response to IBMS and BAC concerns
The HPV Implementation Group invited questions from professional bodies regarding HPV implementation. The IBMS and BAC were among the professional bodies which raised questions.
These related to implementation of primary HPV testing in the English cervical screening programme and covered issues of primary HPV testing with cytology triage in England, laboratory standards and cervical screening.
