Share your views on the blueprint draft
The Scottish Clinical Biochemistry Managed Diagnostic Network (SCBMDN) has received a blueprint for laboratories by Shared Services.
The blueprint covers a range of topics, including:
- Inconsistency in testing repertoires
- Electronic ordering systems delivering an inconsistent interface
- Conservatism and resistance to changes in working practice
- Variation in interpretation of roles and job descriptions
They would like IBMS members to provide feedback on this document and particularly welcome views on the role of the NMDNs in this. You can access the blueprint online.
The deadline for feedback on the blueprint is noon on Monday 18th December.
