Northeast and Yorkshire Apprenticeship Project Lead, Health Education England

Jemma is the Northeast and Yorkshire Apprenticeship project lead. She has supported apprentices in Healthcare Science since the initial trailblazers, and helped to establish, grow and support an apprenticeship programme across Laboratory Medicine at Sheffield Teaching hospitals where she still works today. Her experience has been translated across all healthcare science and into the regional role she currently has, where she encourages and explores with employers how apprenticeships can address workforce issues.
