Pre-Reg Clinical Scientist, Laboratory for Molecular Haemato-Oncology (LMH), Synnovis LLP

Tasmiya  is currently a Pre-reg Clinical Scientist at the Laboratory for Molecular Haemato-Oncology (LMH) which is part of the South East Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service. With extensive molecular biology experience, she is part of the team delivering sensitive chimerism assays using STR analysis and variant detection using the Illumina NGS platform as well as molecular karyotyping using high density SNP arrays.

Tasmiya is part of the explorative team tasked with the development and assessment of Bionano Optical Genome Mapping technology to provide an all-in-one molecular cytogenomic solution and will present the utility of this technology within a clinical diagnostic service.
