Dr Anthony Maddox

Consultant Cellular Pathologist, Lead for diagnostic cytopathology and respiratory pathology, West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

Anthony is a consultant cellular pathologist at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust with particular responsibility for the respiratory pathology service, including EBUS. He is currently Chair of the British Association for Cytopathology (BAC), while also being a member of the joint RCPath/IBMS conjoint board administering BMS cytopathology reporting exams.

He is interested in diagnostic cytopathology as part of an overall cellular pathology service and its application both to definitive diagnosis and initial assessment in clinic (Rapid Onsite Evaluation – ROSE).
