Logging in and passwords
Current IBMS members can log in with their email address and password from the old website. If we have a home and a work email address on your member record please use the one you have designated as the main address (this can be changed by you after logging in).
If we do not have an up-to-date email address please contact us on 020 7713 0214 or mail@ibms.org with your IBMS membership number, date of birth and a new email address that we can add to your records.
Remember that passwords are case-sensitive so you must enter the exact upper/lower caps and characters.
Your membership may have lapsed if you have not kept up to date with your subscriptions. Please contact subscriptions@ibms.org to update your membership.
I have forgotten which email address you have on my record
To login using your IBMS membership number instead of your email address please click here. You can update your email address as soon as you login.
I have forgotten/want to change my password
If you have forgotten your password please use the forgotten password link to receive an email to change your password.
I have used the password reminder facility but have not received an email
First of all please check to make sure any email has not been caught in your spam folders. Your email address may be out of date or incorrectly entered on your online profile. Please contact us as above.

After five attempts to login, your account will be blocked. If this happens please contact us so that we can unlock your account.
Registration: current, lapsed and non-members
Current members can register using their IBMS membership number to set-up a password. Your password must be six characters or longer and contain alpha and numeric characters. Please keep both your password and IBMS membership number secure and confidential.
I am trying to register but I don't have my IBMS membership number
Contact us on 020 7713 0214 or mail@ibms.org and quote your date of birth and home postal address.
I am trying to register but it won't recognise my details
This may be happening for the following reasons.
- We do not have an email address on your membership records. Please contact us as above.
- Your IBMS membership number is incorrect. Please check your number on your card.
- Your membership is no longer current.
I registered but did not receive automatic confirmation
Please check to make sure any email has not been caught in your spam folders. Your email address may be out of date or incorrectly entered on your online profile. Please contact us as above.
