Inspiring the public, supporting patients and raising awareness of biomedical science.
Harvey’s Lab Tours give young patients and their families a unique behind-the-scenes look at hospital laboratories. By meeting biomedical scientists and discovering what happens to their samples, children feel less anxious, better informed and more confident during their healthcare journey.
Partnerships help fund the items that make these experiences possible — including lab coats, teddies, squishies and bag charms that comfort and support young patients.

The Learning Lab is a mobile outreach initiative that brings biomedical science directly into schools, communities and public events across the UK. Through VR experiences, hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations, it helps people of all ages understand the science behind healthcare.
Supporting the Learning Lab helps broaden access to science, reach underrepresented communities and inspire future biomedical scientists.
