IBMS Council Elections 2026

Your chance to join IBMS Council and help shape the future of the IBMS - online nominations now open

The IBMS is a professional body shaped and led by its members. Our Council plays a central role in that mission – setting the direction of the Institute, championing the profession and ensuring we are governed with transparency, integrity and ambition. Every Council member is elected by IBMS members, and every election shapes the future of our profession.

In 2026, we are inviting IBMS corporate members who live or work in the UK (including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) to step forward and stand for election. We are looking for people who care about the future of biomedical science and want to bring their insight, leadership and experience to the role.
