IBMS education turnaround times update

The IBMS Education Team are tackling the registration and specialist portfolio applications and have successfully reduced the turnaround time. We are committing to a turnaround time of 6 weeks, although the majority of applications will be processed faster than this.

The Education Team have also improved the processing time for requests for verification and examinations. We are reliant on our fantastic verifier and examiner colleagues and appreciate your support with all portfolio assessments.

We continue to make improvements to our services with additional staff in the education department to deal with the volume of enquiries and applications. We are now prioritising laboratory training approval applications and re-approval applications as a matter of urgency, the system of conditional approval for laboratories waiting for reapproval remains to ensure training portfolios can be issued. 

We greatly appreciate your patience as we continue to address waiting times and any backlogs.
