CPD is how Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registrants show they’re continuing to learn and grow throughout their careers. It demonstrates that their knowledge is current, their practice is professional, and that they’re committed to delivering high-quality care.
All HCPC-registered biomedical scientists must keep a clear and up-to-date record of their CPD activities to maintain their registration.

IBMS members can use the MyIBMS CPD ePortfolio—our online tool to record and manage CPD activity.
