Upskill Through Apprenticeships: Shaping the Future of Biomedical Science

The University of Salford, recently recognised as Educational Institution of the Year at the IBMS Awards, is hosting a second webinar as part of Healthcare Science Week, focusing on how apprenticeships are helping to strengthen and upskill the biomedical science workforce.

This session will feature Gareth Richardson, Physiological Science Network Programme Lead and Workforce Development Lead, Greater Manchester Diagnostic Network, who will discuss strategies for recruitment, retention, and professional development within his teams.

A Biomedical Scientist apprentice and a Training Manager will also share their experiences, highlighting the impact of apprenticeships in real-world laboratory settings.

There will be a Q&A session, allowing you to engage with speakers and submit questions before or during the webinar. A CPD certificate will be available after the event.
