This session will feature Michelle Payne, Strategic Pathology Workforce and Education Lead for North East and North Cumbria, who will share insights into recruitment, retention, and workforce development strategies.


Attendees will also hear from a Biomedical Scientist apprentice and a Training Manager, who will discuss how apprenticeships are creating new career opportunities and helping to upskill teams.


There will also be a live Q&A session, where you can submit questions ahead of time or during the event. A CPD certificate will be provided after the webinar.

Training Officer Support Forums enable members and training officers to come together to discuss training plans, how to prepare for verification, and any other issues raised at IBMS Training for Trainers events.

ROSE is an expanding field particularly in head and neck, EBUS and EUS. The benefits of ROSE are well documented and multiple guidelines for best practice promote ROSE. Appropriate planning of services and training of staff is essential for any service to run safely and effectively. This course will aim to help staff providing the service to understand its many.
These training days are suitable for those preparing for the IBMS ROSE qualification but are equally suited to those who just want to learn more about the service they are helping to provide. The course covers core medical, technical, and morphological aspects of head and neck, EBUS and EUS ROSE.
We have organised these days so that participants can attend the whole course or just selected days.

Join us for OneFile Learning Week, a series of focused, bite-sized training sessions designed to help you make the most of the OneFile system. Hosted by IBMS Head of Digital Education, Jim Taylor, and Education Technologist, Deirdre McLaughlin, each session will run for 45 minutes and give you practical insights to enhance your use of OneFile.

Session 1 will provide a complete end-to-end overview of OneFile, covering key processes from setting up training plans to navigating the system efficiently. This session is ideal for anyone new to OneFile or looking to refresh their understanding of its core functions.
