COVID-19: results of LAMP and Lateral Flow Devices validation and evaluation
- At least 20% of healthcare workers have been infected with COVID-19.
- Reports from individual hospitals and modelling have demonstrated that asymptomatic healthcare workers can transmit to other healthcare workers and onward in the community
- SAGE has recommended that all healthcare workers have asymptomatic testing at least weekly to reduce transmission in healthcare environments.
- While PCR capacity has increased, in order to test healthcare workers alternative technologies are required to have sufficient capacity to deliver this ambition.
- This webinar will share the latest validation and evaluation data of LAMP and LFDs by the experts who performed the studies and analysis
