Alan Wainwright Associate of National School

On the week of his retirement, in recognition of the support IBMS Executive Head of Education Alan Wainwright has given the National School of Healthcare Science, he has been invited to become an Associate. 

In 2021, to celebrate ten years of the National School of Healthcare Science, the School launched a stakeholder recognition scheme in gratitude for the work, support and input of individuals from the healthcare science workforce across the four nations. The chosen Associates are deemed to have helped the School to grow and to deliver its remit.

As an Associate he is invited to use post-nominal letters after his name, either ‘Associate of the National School of Healthcare Science’ or the abbreviation ‘ANSHCS’. The National School also offer personal development opportunities that are available exclusively for their Associates. 

The National School are always pleased to have scientists involved with their work, as they exist on behalf of all the scientists in the NHS.
