HSE issues review of COSHH, CLAW and DSEAR
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has begun a review on the regulations controlling hazardous substances in the workplace, particularly the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH), the Control of Lead at work Regulations (CLAW) and the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR).
This review is intended to make it easier for duty holders to fulfil with their responsibilities, maintain a high level of health and safety and promote proportional risk management. This review particularly relates to professionals working with biological agents.
The HSE encourages professionals to share their experiences in this survey. It closes 18th October. For more information, access the HSE website.
