Connect to a network of local biomedical scientists, support staff and students through your local IBMS region
Your local IBMS region will:
- organise scientific meetings and social events, providing an opportunity to network and exchange ideas with IBMS members from across your region.
- offer support for members taking part in public engagement activities in local schools, universities and hospitals.
- raise local issues with IBMS Council, including; changes to local service provision, reconfiguration, training and education.
Get involved with your local region
Getting involved with your local region will provide opportunities to develop a range of skills; from leadership to presentation and public speaking.
There are a number of ways you can get involved, including; joining your local region's committee, organising or speaking at a region event and taking part in careers events and other public engagement activities in your local area.
