Connect to a network of local biomedical scientists, support staff and students through your local IBMS region

Your local IBMS region will:

organise scientific meetings and social events, providing an opportunity to network and exchange ideas with IBMS members from across your region.
offer support for members taking part in public engagement activities in local schools, universities and hospitals.
raise local issues with IBMS Council, including; changes to local service provision, reconfiguration, training and education.

Get involved with your local region

Getting involved with your local region will provide opportunities to develop a range of skills; from leadership to presentation and public speaking.

There are a number of ways you can get involved, including; joining your local region's committee, organising or speaking at a region event and taking part in careers events and other public engagement activities in your local area.
