IBMS History Week 2018

We are introducing a history week to celebrate our rich history of supporting healthcare since 1912.

To kick-start our event for the first time, our theme is concentrating on the NHS which marks its 70th birthday later this year. Since its founding in 1948, the IBMS (then known as the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology) has supported NHS laboratory science staff.

Working in collaboration with NHS 70, we are collecting stories from our members to share their experiences of working in the NHS.
