The IBMS in partnership with the British Association for Cytopathology (BAC) will be running a one-day event ‘Preparing for the Future’ at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Nottingham.
Who should attend
Biomedical Scientists, Cytology Screeners, Clinical Leads, Pathologists and Service Commissioners – anyone interested and concerned about the future for themselves or their staff when HPV primary screening is rolled out.
What will be discussed
Latest developments with regard to HPV Primary Screening and subsequent service reconfiguration, regional updates from Scotland and Wales where HPV primary screening is already being rolled out, Union speakers in relation to TUPE and your rights, alternative roles for cytology staff
Career Planning
Diversification, educational routes and personal development planning.
