The Serous Fluid two day non-gynae course is designed for qualified BMS’s and covers many aspects of the IBMS advanced specialist Certificate (General level) syllabus, including specimen preparation techniques, anatomy and histology. Normal features including cellular composition of effusions, features associated with reactive change and malignancy will be covered by formal lectures and practical microscopy.
