Are you a leader in healthcare science? Apply today for the Chief Scientific Officer’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership for Leaders in Healthcare Science

In a new initiative, senior-level healthcare scientists are encouraged to apply for the CSO’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership Programme.

This 12-month programme offers healthcare scientists the chance to build partnerships and networks with research, clinical and industry teams across the UK through the UK’s National Measurement System (NMS).

By assisting knowledge exchange and leadership across systems, the programme means to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes. Successful applicants will:

  • Build connections
  • Improve their leadership skills
  • Advise on a national level through membership on the Office of the Chief Scientific Officer’s NHS England senior advisory group
  • Expand their research through master classes with topic experts,
  • Have chances for professional speaking and ambassadorial opportunities at the National Chief Scientific Officer's Conference 2018

To be eligible for the programme you must:

  • Be a practicing healthcare scientist at a senior level within the Trust
  • Hold an honours degree and MSc in a relevant subject
  • Have demonstrable research and quality
  • Work for an NHS scientific and diagnostic services provider in England
  • Have your employer’s consent to be released on full pay for the required dates
  • Dedicate at least 16 days to the programme and agree to the terms and conditions of the Fellowship
