Birmingham International Summer School offers new biomedical science programme

Birmingham International Summer School (BISS) is returning in 2016 with an additional three new programmes and applications are now open!
BISS offers a combination of academic sessions as well as an extensive social programme, whereby students will have the opportunity to experience British culture through a wide range of trips and social activities.
BISS will now be offering five programmes as follows:
- British Cultural Heritage Programme
- Mathematical Finance and Financial Time Series Analysis
- Film & Media (NEW)
- Global Energy Systems - Powering the Future (NEW)
- Biomedical Sciences: From Laboratory Bench to Hospital Bedside (NEW)
The programme dates of the International Summer School are 18 July–5 August 2016. Programmes are formally assessed and students will have the opportunity to undertake assessment to receive the equivalent of 20 credits. All students will receive a certificate of attendance.
