IBMS announces information on its preparation day for candidates taking the Higher Specialist Diploma.
The Higher Specialist Diploma (HSD) candidate preparation day is aimed at those already registered on the qualification or those thinking about doing the HSD. It will include information on:
- what makes a good portfolio
- the examination structure and ‘M’ level questions
- a presentation from a successful HSD candidate and
- workshops on the generic and discipline specific examinations with IBMS examiners
The next candidate preparation day will take place on Tuesday 21 February 2017 at the IBMS Offices in Coldbath Square, London.

The IBMS Higher Specialist Diploma enables biomedical scientists with 5 years post registration experience, who are looking to progress to a more advanced role to demonstrate high levels of knowledge, skill and competence within their chosen discipline.
