Do you want to know your process map from your value stream map?

Do you want to know your process map from your value stream map? Do you want to be introduced to some 'Lean' tools and techniques, or, learn to improve your process or patient flow through the healthcare system?

The Chief Scientific Officer invites you to participate in the first in a series of workshops to develop the scientific workforce’s capacity and capability in quality improvement tools and techniques.

Tuesday 28th June 2016, The Wesley, Euston, London

Improvement science covers a wide range of approaches and methodologies, with useful tools and techniques that can help to improve the 'day to day' experiences of both patients, carers and staff, while improving efficiency and streamlining services.

This entry level course will be a very practical introduction to some of the concepts and tools of quality improvement. It will attempt to demystify some of the jargon and help delegates to gain an overview of some of the tools and techniques that they can adopt to make real improvements in their own services.

Delegates will be supported to think about which approach for which problem. Participants will be asked to think about real life challenges that they face in their clinical or operational services and think through how they could tackle the issues using quality improvement tools and techniques.
