Professionals can improve their leadership skills in a four-day programme

Practical Skills for Professional Education and Leadership in Healthcare Science (PSEL) is offering a four-day intensive programme for healthcare scientists.

Organised by NHS England and the Academy for Healthcare Science, the course is taking place around the UK. The programme will cover aspects of professional and educational leadership, including the challenges facing professionals, dealing with difficult situations as well as educational and organisational approaches.

This programme would be particularly useful for those scientists with responsibility for developing their workforce, and participants will have the chance to take part in Action Learn Sets (ALS).

Course activities include small group work, short interactive lectures, discussions, paired work, and individual reflection.

For more information, see the event flyer. To apply, complete the application form and return it to Fiona Fiorentino.
