Former healthcare scientists encouraged to return to practice
26 January 2018
Health Education England has launched a campaign targeting former healthcare professionals

On 22nd January Health Education England (HEE) introduced a campaign to attract former Allied healthcare professionals (AHPs) and healthcare scientists back into practice.

These Allied Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Scientists that formerly worked in the NHS will be given valuable support and guidance to renew their HCPC registration and to ensure they are ready to provide patient care and diagnostic services in healthcare settings.

Returnees will be able to claim for out of pocket expenses, which are paid to provide financial support for any out of pocket expenses incurred such as travel, child care and costs of DBS (Disclosure Barring Service).

This initiative is run by HEE, with support and funding from the Government Equalities Office. For more information visit the HEE website.

You can follow this campaign on Twitter by using the hashtag #IAmReadytoReturn.
