IFBLS 2018 Awards open for applications
The International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science welcomes applications for their 2018 Awards.
These awards will be held at the 33rd World Congress of Biomedical Laboratory Science in Florence, Italy on the 22-26 September. IBMS members are eligible to apply and are encouraged to submit an application for these awards.
Note to applicants
On the application forms it is listed ‘name of Associate member’. In the context of this, the Associate member is the Institute of Biomedical Science. Applicants must therefore be a member of the IBMS and should contact education@ibms.org for IBMS endorsement of their application.
Student Award
The Student award allows a student with restricted financial resources to attend the IFBLS World Congress and Student forum, and to encourage their involvement in IFBLS activities.
The IBMS will support one application for the Student Award. To be eligible for this award, applicants must:
- be an IBMS member
- be registered on an IBMS accredited undergraduate degree at the time of application and in the final year of completion
To apply, interested students should send a completed application form to education@ibms.org with a cover letter of no more than 500 words on why they wish to attend. The deadline for this is 31st March 2018.
