International Day of Biomedical Scientists

15 April marks the annual International Day of Biomedical Scientists, this year held in Croatia. This day aims to highlight the important role of biomedical scientists in healthcare.

From 8-15 April, events will be held throughout the country to recognise medical laboratory scientists.

Marie Nora Roald, President of the International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science said,

“I am impressed and proud. The goal is strong, and you set a good example for other countries in what we can do to highlight the importance of Biomedical Laboratory Scientists.”
