Medical Sciences Historical Society Prize open for entries

The Medical Sciences Historical Society Prize is now open for 2016 entries

Entrants are invited to submit an essay on a subject relevant to the history of an aspect of diagnostic laboratory science.

The Medical Sciences Historical Society (MSHS) Prize is awarded annually to the best poster or essay on a subject relevant to the history of an aspect of diagnostic laboratory science.

Entrants must be current members of the IBMS in the year of the award.

The Prize is open to both IBMS eStudents and IBMS Associates or Licentiates who are currently undertaking an IBMS Registration Training portfolio.

The winning essay will be published in the June or July issue of The Biomedical Scientist and the MSHS Journal and Newsletter.

The winning author will be invited to the Institute’s AGM awards to be presented with their prize.

How to enter

Essays should be submitted to christianburt@ibms.org, with the email subject line: "Medical Science Historical Society Prize Essay" by 31st March 2016.
