Send in your nomination for the Science Council’s CPD Awards 2017

If you or someone you know sets an exemplary example of how CPD should be done, nominate them today for the Science Council’s CPD Awards 2017.

These awards are meant to recognise the efforts and achievements of registrants across Registered Science Technician (RSciTech), Registered Scientist (RSci), Chartered Scientist (CSci) and Chartered Science Teacher (CSciTeach) status.

One of last year’s recipients was IBMS member and Senior Biomedical Scientist Amardeep Ghattaoraya, who won the Science Council’s CSci CPD award.

To nominate yourself or an individual, you can do this via the online nomination form.

Read the guidance notes available before making a nomination. Note, you must get permission from you nominees and confirmed by a signed declaration form before submitting them to the Science Council.

The deadline for nominations is 12pm on Friday 21 July. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 21 September and will each receive a prize and certificate.

If you have any questions about what constitutes a brilliant CPD record or about the CPD process, contact christianburt@ibms.org today.
