#LTF16 Leading the Future: the Vision for 2020 is a two-day event is for all those working in healthcare science

This year's event will have a particular focus on those who will be or aim to be in leadership roles in healthcare science in 2020 and will take place on the 29 February and 1 March 2016.

The aim of this event is to encourage healthcare scientists to look up and out and engage with the work of the Five Year Forward View to build an effective and sustainable NHS for the future. Sharing knowledge, skills and wisdom – shaping new models of care and breaking down silos.

#LTF16 provides the perfect opportunity to hear from the below speakers about the key changes and challenges in the health and care landscape and within healthcare science:

  • Malcolm Grant, Chairman of NHS England
  • Sir Bruce Keogh, Medical Director for NHS England
  • Samantha Jones , Director of New Models of Care, NHS England

This year the event will continue to explore how scientific and diagnostic services can contribute to achieving the visions of the NHS England Five Year Forward View, with a focus on the development of the healthcare science leaders of today and the future, quality improvement and supporting innovation and new ways of working.

#LTF16 is free to attend and is being held in Church House, Dean’s Yard, London. As part of the event the inspirational 2016 Healthcare Science Awards will be held on the Monday evening.
