The Chief Scientific Officer’s WISE Fellowship Programme for NHS England is now open for applications

The Chief Scientific Officer’s WISE Fellowship is a brand new initiative, and an opportunity for mid-career female healthcare scientists to gain invaluable leadership experience

There will be four Fellowships this year and the career development programme will include:

- Mentoring by senior leaders in the fields of healthcare, academia and industry - Attendance on the WISE Career Development Programme - Individual WISE membership - Access to the self-assessment tools of the NHS Healthcare Leadership Model

Successful applicants will be selected based on both their potential to make a difference in their current and future roles in addition to their commitment to make a difference in their current and future roles in addition to their commitment to inspiring the next generation of healthcare scientists.

The selection process will include and application form and an interview either on 12th May in London or 19th May in Leeds.

The closing date for applications is April 15th 2016 and winners will be announced in June 2016.
