The UK SMI B 15: Investigation of bile has been reissued
Public Health England has reissued a UK Standards for Microbiology Investigations (UK SMI) guidance document on the investigation of bile, which features minor amendments and reference updates.
UK SMIs are meant as a resource for practising professionals in the field of laboratory medicine and provide procedures for clinical microbiology. These are developed in collaboration with the NHS, the Royal College of Pathologists and other professional bodies.
