Call for volunteers: Coventry University Student Conference 2017
24 November 2016
Want to help promote biomedical science? Coventry University wants you at their student conference

Coventry University is holding a student conference on 25th May 2017. The IBMS is looking for members to help promote the profession to the next generation of scientists.

Emma Frith, biomedical scientist and lecturer commented:

“The conference sees level 3 biomedical science students from the School of Life Sciences present their final year projects in either a presentation or poster and it will be held on the 25th of May 2017. The conference has received fantastic support from students in previous years and they take the opportunity to present their work in such a way very seriously.

On the day, the posters and presentations are judged and the top student in each category wins a prize. It is a great opportunity for students to boost their confidence and enhance both their experience and CV. It also presents the opportunity to meet professionals from other universities or industry, this year we have Prof May (Birmingham University) discussing his research and its impact on the society and a representative from a biological society.”

Coventry University wants your help with their student conference. You could be a speaker, help run the stand and promote biomedical science to students. For more information contact Emma Frith.
